Message from Lynda at KBS:

Kingston Bereavement Service has been working remotely since Monday, we are using Microsoft Teams so that all the staff can send messages, call and video call each other. We all have access to our emails and are also able to access telephone messages remotely.  We have at this time, moved our counselling delivery from face to face to telephone counselling and in some circumstances online counselling using Zoom (recommended by the BACP), this has enabled us to continue delivering our service to our clients. We are in regular contact with our Counsellors and Supervisors.
Very sadly in the future we are likely to receive many more referrals as more people are bereaved as a result of the coronavirus, this will have a significant impact on our service.
