This is to notify you of our next BLM event which is on Thursday 4th March 2020. As you may know the area we are highlighting and drawing attention to in this special “Let’s Talk About Vaccines event  is Coronavirus Vaccines uptake within the BAME communities. The event will start and go live on YouTube at 6.30pm and finish at 8.00pm.

 

The event is a joint Partnership collaboration between KREC and RBK. As such there will two Co-Chairs that evening. The RBK BAME Lead Cllr Thay Thayalan and KREC Trustee and Chair of the Projects Board Prabha Shetty will be Co-Chairs. The Panellists include  Iona Lidington, Director of Public Health, Royal Borough of Kingston, Ali Kashmiri, Disability Rights Advocate & Campaigner, Independent Living, Ruth Pombi, General Manager: Theatre Transformation Lead, Kingston Hospital and Dr Naz Jivani, Clinical Vice Chair and GP Borough Lead for Kingston, Clinical Commissioning Group.
