Black Lives Matter event TODAY – Wed 14th October at 6.30pm

The next KREC RBK Race Equality BLM series event is on Wednesday 14th October 2020. As you may know the areas we are highlighting and drawing attention to in the “Let’s Talk About Race (Equality) event  are Education and Employment. The event will start and go live on YouTube at 6.30pm and finish at 8.00pm.

The event is a joint Partnership collaboration between KREC and RBK. As such there will two Co-Chairs that evening. The Mayor of Kingston Cllr Margaret Thompson and KREC Chair Javed Rafiq will be Co-Chairs. The Panellists include  Siobhan Lowe, Headteacher, Tolworth Girls School, Rachel Lukwago, Chair, RBK BAME Staff Group, Kathryn Kashyap, Achieving for Children Improvement Adviser for PPG and BAME Achievement  and a local young entrepreneur Jonathan Azah, Director of Outpost Search Recruitment .

We have asked the general public to submit questions before the event and we hope to be able to let us have your questions. There is still time.
