The next KREC RBK Race Equality BLM series event is on Thursday 10th December 2020. As you may know the areas we are highlighting and drawing attention to in the “Let’s Talk About Race (Equality) event are Disability and Gender. The event will start and go live on YouTube at 6.30pm and finish at 8.00pm. The event is a joint Partnership collaboration between KREC and RBK. As such there will two Co-Chairs that evening. The RBK BAME Lead Cllr Thay Thayalan and KREC Trustee and Chair of the Projects Board Prabha Shetty will be Co-Chairs. The Panellists include Cllr Caroline Kerr, Leader, Royal Borough of Kingston, Hameed Ahmad, RBK Senior Commissioner – Strategic Development, Siobhan Lowe, Headteacher, Tolworth Girls School, Jason Lamont, CEO, Kingston Centre for Independent Living and Lucy Jones, Athena Swan, Kingston University.
