Working together to help people who have housing problems

Working together to help people who have housing problems

kiaa members recently met up for a working lunch to discuss housing issues for local people and what we can do to help those in crisis and to help people avoid crisis.

We heard from Lorna Brooke from RBK about prevention work they are doing and from Matt Hatton at KCAH about how their team help people in crisis.

We gained some great insights into what other agencies do and how we can work together to make sure that noone is left behind and that we make the best use of scarce resources.

Here is our draft report of the event – the group will devise an action plan from this which will guide our next steps and will help us to make sure that our activities are done in the framework of the Kingston Information and Advice Strategy.. for more info contact me on pippa@citizensadvicekingston.org.uk
