Contact for Help

If you can’t find the answer here on our website, then you can phone us or email us with your enquiry or drop into our information centre. If you are a partner agency, you can refer a client to us online…

Phone us with new enquiries on our assessment line:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday : 10am – 3:30pm (not Wednesdays)

020 3166 0953

(Phone calls charged at local rate)

The telephone assessor will take you through an initial assessment to determine the best way in which we can help you.

This might be through:

    • Providing you with information such as factsheets or leaflets
    • Directing or transferring you to another service
    • Referring you to an adviser if your enquiry is complex
  • Or referring you to a specialist service either here at the bureau or with a partner agency

There is a high demand for our service and we receive most of our calls at the beginning of each session between 10 and 11 am

We have a computer for client use in our Information Centre. Clients are able to access selected internet sites such as Adviceguide, GOV.UK, Department of Work and Pensions, Shelter and National Debtline to look for information. If you want to find a computer to use nearer to where you are – then try our interactive map of public access computers (thanks to the Superhighways project)

If English is not your first language, we may be able to ask an interpreter from Kingston Interpreting Service to help us to understand your problem. It would help us to help you if you can bring a friend to translate for you when you first contact us, so that we can be sure that we can offer you the help that you need.
