Message from Soyen at Magpie project ( Mind in Kingston)

Dear All,

Happy new year to you all.

As a biggest celebration of the year for Korean and other Asian countries, Chinese New Year in this year is on 22nd January. This year is a year of black rabbit. Black symbolises human wisdom in far east Asia and rabbits are recognised as good and clever animal. It is also calm and bright animal symbolising stability, peace, and fertility.

“I wish you for the wellbeing and the peace of mind with wisdom in the year of 2023.”

Magpie pie project wants to celebrate and share with people those who care their health and wellbeing. National Mind promotes 5 ways of wellbeing which you might know what they are, but you can find out by visiting us at a Monday open café on 23 January at the Place.  We love to share ‘what 5 ways to wellbeing’ with you and the various ideas of practicing them in your lives.

It is a free event, and you can drop by at any time during the event between 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm.  We also prepared a small gift, a foldable shopping bag with useful local wellbeing information.

We are barely okay to live with COVID and the importance of maintaining a healthy life becomes more prominent.   Spare your Monday evening for visiting an open café and plan your fulfilling year to begin with.

Please publicise posters to people who are interested in taking care of their wellbeing.

You can let us know that you are coming to the event and can contact for any comments before and the after the event.
