our local Information and Advice Strategy (2021)

A couple of people have asked about our latest version of the Kingston Information and Advice Strategy so it is timely to send it round to all members again.

Here it is and I hope you find it helpful to see our shared endeavour set out so clearly. The format of the strategy is dictated by the requirements of the Care Act 2014 and our local action plan has been in effective operation since we first co designed the strategy.

At a time of increased cost of living and the crisis for local people that this has triggered, it is helpful to know that we have a strong basis for our shared work on alleviating hardship and suffering in our community and that our partnership work on this has such a good foundation.

Hopefully you will be able to join some of the regular monthly kiaa events online – now entitled ‘Cost of Living Crisis meetings’ so that we can make sure we are all up to date with what help is available to local people at this difficult time. Here is the link to more information on the events and here is the link to the shared library of materials from our kiaa events that we have compiled so far..
