Our response to the government’s announcement that it will consult on ending section 21 “no-fault” evictions in the private rented sector was picked up by the Guardian.

The story also used Citizens Advice figures on revenge eviction that showed tenants who made a formal complaint about their landlord or the state of their rented home had a 46% chance of being issued with a section 21 eviction notice in the following six months.

Gillian Guy, said the change was a “groundbreaking shake-up” and said it would prevent landlords from “evicting tenants for simply complaining”.
