Tackling obesity – RBK survey…

Here is the message from Adults Services at RBK:
Dear Colleagues,
I would like to ask for your help in sharing this message and the attached slide deck with your community and networks across Kingston, including the mini-video embedded in the slides please.
‘Arguably the biggest issue the UK is facing now is obesity – the silent pandemic. It is reported that over 60% of UK adults are overweight or obese, with many health risks associated with this.’
We have composed the following survey to help find out more about the barriers and challenges people in South West London face regarding their weight, and we particularly want to hear from people in our local communities in Kingston.
As well as the on-line survey, we will be carrying out some focus groups later in the summer, where we can talk about the subject and hear more from local people, particularly those that don’t use the internet or whose first language isn’t english.
Please could you kindly pass this message on to your networks.
All who complete the survey can be entered into a draw with the chance to win £100.
